Money-Earning Application

(Troops or Individual Girl Scouts)
Any troop/girl wishing to conduct a money-earning activity needs to:
1. Participate in the annual Fall Product Sale and Girl Scout Cookie Program Activity
2. Receive prior approval
3. Follow the guiding principles in the Troop Money Management Booklet, Volunteer Essentials, and the Highest Awards Guidelines (when applicable).
Please keep in mind that Girl Scout troops/girls may NOT:
1. Solicit or be directly involved in fund raising projects for other organizations (volunteering as part of a program component is acceptable)
2. Girl Scouts and troop leaders are not permitted to solicit monetary contributions or request donations of supplies or solicit for sponsorships. These funding activities are only allowed for Girl Scouts going for their Gold Award.
  1. Girl Scouts/troops may participate in money-earning activities after receiving council approval.
3. Participate in any gambling/raffle activities
4. Sell any meat products without proper food safety instructions from the council.
Please complete this form and submit for review one month prior to the beginning of the proposed event. You will be notified within two weeks if the money-earning activity has been approved.
