Girl Board Member Application (2026)
Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast is accepting applications for the position of girl board member to serve on the board of directors for a one-year term with full voting privileges beginning October 1, 2026. If this exciting leadership experience interests you, please review the position description and complete an application. Girl Scouts must be high school sophomores or above and 14 years old or older by October 1, 2026. Letter(s) of support are required as part of this application. Please have your letter(s) ready to attach to this online application -or- your letter(s) can be emailed directly to smolina@gswise.org by the application deadline. Deadline for submitting both your application and letter(s) of support is: Monday, May 11, 11:59 PM. Girl Scouts selected for an interview will be contacted sometime in June. Interviews for selected applicants will take place on June 18, between 4:00-8:00 pm. Please check all times below you could be available for an interview (interview start times will be scheduled within 15 minutes before or after the times listed below; interviews will last around 15 minutes long). Note if you indicate limited availability in your selection(s), we may not be able to accommodate an interview for you which may affect our consideration of your application.

Girl Scout Girl Board Member Expectations: 1) Will serve a minimum of one-year on the board of directors to begin on October 1, 2026. 2) Will have full voting privileges and may be encouraged to serve on a committee. 3) Will be expected to attend Board Orientation, Delegate Meetings, Annual Meetings, and regular (at least four per year) and special board meetings. 4) Will maintain the same attendance record as all other Board Members. 5) Must be willing to travel. Board meeting locations may rotate throughout the council’s jurisdiction.
